Emberfall Legacy

★★★★★ 4.7

Emberfall Legacy is the kind of RPG that respects your commute. Battles are turn-based and quick, but the systems underneath them run deep: you build a party of four, juggle elemental weaknesses, and slowly unlock a skill web that actually rewards planning.

  • Deep party and skill systems
  • Story that actually pays off
  • Smart auto-battle for grinding

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick titles that look like they're doing something a bit different, usually from small or solo developers. Someone on the team plays each one properly before it goes up. We favour variety across genres over chasing whatever's trending.

Do developers pay you for reviews?

No, and we won't take that money. We buy or download everything ourselves, and a studio can't influence a score. That independence is the only reason our opinions are worth anything.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, we read every suggestion that lands in our inbox. Big Bass 3in1 actually came to us that way before we wrote it up. We can't promise to cover everything, but we do keep a running list of reader picks.

Is there advertising on the site?

We run light, non-intrusive display ads to keep the lights on, clearly separated from our editorial. Advertisers have no say over what we write or how we score anything. If that ever changed, we'd tell you plainly.
