A week with Big Bass 3in1

I'll be honest, I downloaded Big Bass 3in1 mostly out of curiosity about how a three-in-one bundle would hold together. Usually these collections feel like one decent game padded out with two throwaways. This one surprised me.

The core is the same across all three modes: cast, wait for a bite, and reel while managing line tension. But the framing changes enough that each mode has its own rhythm. The calm shoreline mode became my default for winding down, while the timed mode is where I actually got competitive with myself.

Control-wise it's about as approachable as a game gets. Everything is one thumb, the tension meter is easy to read, and I never fumbled a catch because of a fussy input. That accessibility is a big part of why it stuck around on my phone all week.

If I had one wish, it'd be a bit more variety in the fish gallery, since the collection mode runs a little thin once you've seen everything. Even so, as a low-stress pick-up-and-play title, Big Bass 3in1 does its job well and looks nice doing it.

My advice: don't judge it by the first thirty seconds. Give each of the three modes a proper try, because the one that clicks with you might not be the one you'd expect.
