About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of weird little games. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are.
We cover mobile games from tiny studios and solo developers, the kind that never get a marketing budget. Our rule is simple: nobody reviews a game they haven't finished or at least sunk serious hours into. That means our catalogue grows slowly, but every entry is something we genuinely touched.
Genre doesn't matter to us. We'll happily lose an afternoon to a card game, a racing arcade title, or a slow-burn RPG. If a game does something clever with a phone screen and a pair of thumbs, we want to talk about it.
We pay for our own downloads, we don't take money for scores, and we say when something bored us. That's the whole pitch.
